Limited Warranty

All JANSKA electrical products are subjected to rigorous security and quality controls to meet and exceed North American safety standards. During the specified warranty period, Janska will provide parts at no charge and cover the repair costs for any defects in materials or workmanship found in the appliance, provided the appliance is installed, used, and maintained in accordance with the provided instructions.

The warranty period for each electrical product is specified on the sales platform at the time of purchase. To verify, contact Janska Customer Support with your Customer Order ID.

General Conditions

  1. Warranty does not cover failure as a result of misuse, abuse, rust or corrosion, spilled liquids or foreign objects found inside the unit; repair of damage caused by accident, theft, fire, flood, natural disaster, external causes such as, but not limited to, blown fuses, inadequate electrical power, water and gas lines beyond the equipment, or any use of the product not authorized by the manufacturer.
  2. The maximum liability of the warranty for product replacement or repair shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
  3. JANSKA reserves the right to repair or replace the covered product with a comparable feature model. Replacement will only occur if the unit is deemed irreparable.
  4. Warranty does not cover deterioration of the product's cosmetic appearance, such as paint, porcelain, glass, dents, scratches, chips, rust, or peeling.
  5. Costs associated with replacing appliance light bulbs, consumables, knobs, handles, doors, or other cosmetic parts are not covered under this warranty.
  6. Warranty does not cover the natural wear of the product and wear due to improper maintenance.
  7. Any damage resulting from unauthorized replacement parts, improper service, or modifications to the covered product is not covered. This includes damages to the finish of the appliance or home incurred during installation, such as those to floors, cabinets, walls, etc.
  8. JANSKA is released from all liability due to indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
  9. For repair services, please contact Janska Customer Support. They will inform you of the approved repair services available in your area. If we are unable to provide repair services in your area, we kindly ask that you arrange for a local repair service to address your needs.

Limit of Liability

JANSKA’s liability is limited to the original price of the covered equipment. JANSKA is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration of or tampering with the appliance, accident, hostile environment, flare-up fires, improper installation, or installation not following the instructions in this manual or the local codes. JANSKA shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, special, or contingent damages resulting from its breach of this written warranty or any implied warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

This Limited Warranty covers residential installations only and is non-transferable to any other party.

Warranty is void when the product is installed in common areas where more than a single party has rightful access to its use or in locations considered beyond normal residential use.

Warranty does not apply to products installed in any commercial or non-residential application. Examples of excluded applications include, but are not limited to daycare centers, schools, bed and breakfast centers, churches, private clubs, fire stations, club houses, common areas in multi-family dwellings, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, nursing homes, food service locations, and institutional food service locations.
